For TV golf followers, Philip Parkin is a familiar name whose face and voice are known on both sides of the Atlantic.

 

Over the past 14 years he has established himself as a highly skilled golf commentator, on course reporter and analyst with major US and European broadcasters reaching worldwide TV audiences.

 

The quality of his television work has been highlighted by his outstanding on course coverage of  tournaments including the Open Championship for the BBC, and by his on course reports and interviews at PGA Tour, Nationwide Tour, and Champions Tour events in the US for the Golf Channel.

 

Philip’s schedule this year also sees him reporting from European Tour events on behalf of the European Tour Productions as well as the BBC, and providing studio analysis of US PGA Tour events for viewers of Setanta Sports.

  

Philip’s TV career began in 1995 with Sky Sports for whom he was a studio golf analyst and on course commentator for nine years.

 

His experience as a former European and US PGA Tour player coupled with his intense love and understanding of the game and his familiarity with players on both sides or the Atlantic give great depth to his television work.
